Weir wood have a thriving active youth section. It is open to young sailors aged between 12 to 18 with some sailing experience. It costs just £15.00 per annum (inclusive of logbook) and you will cover RYA Stages 1 (beginners) to Stage 4 (advanced) and racing for club members. By being a member you will enhance your sailing skills in a controlled safe environment, but most of all you will have FUN. You will sail mainly the club Toppers but when you confidence builds you may be lucky enough to sail one of the clubs Laser 2000's or 3000's. For further details Click Here.
Weir Wood Youth meet on Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm till around 4:30 to 5:00pm form late April until early October, for exact date please look at the training calendar. One of our most popular events, which is always sold out is Youth Cobnor in early November. This is a week-end away at Cobnor Activities Centre, Chidham, West Sussex. You will have loads of fun sailing in Chichester Harbour in Bosun dinghies. It is always over subscribed so it is advisable to book early (like a year before!)
